September is National Library Card-Sign-Up Month and to celebrate, the Newburgh Free Library is encouraging residents to register for a card, update existing cards, and/or bring a friend to register.

This is a friendly reminder that our first day of school for students is tomorrow, Thursday, September 5th! All schools are scheduled to operate on a regular school schedule.

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø¿ª½± high school students can come to their Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø¿ª½± campus on Wednesday, September 4th from 1PM to 3 PM to pick up their schedule for the new school year and their ID card. Schedules are also available through the Student Portal.

The Newburgh Enlarged City School District (NECSD) is leading the way taking charge of a hot topic in education. The use of cell phones in schools is a popular subject and NECSD's implementation has been featured widely.

August Graduation for the Class of 2024 candidates will be held on Monday, August 26, 2024 at 10:30am on Academy Field. We look forward to completing Newburgh Free Academy's class of 2024!

The Newburgh Enlarged City School District and Newburgh Free Library, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Big Read are collaborating to provide programming to our community.

All August Regents exams will be held at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø¿ª½± Main Campus on Monday, August 19th and Tuesday, August 21st.
